Residential Aged Care

Residential Aged Care

At NVC, we understand that making the decision to explore Residential Aged Care options can at times seem complicated and confronting.

If you, or a loved one, has reached a stage in life where you need more regular help with day-to day tasks or health care, NVC can help.

Recognising that you need a hand doesn’t mean you are not able to keep living an independent and active life.

NVC’s Residential Aged Care facilities allow you, or a loved one, to live in a supportive, caring environment, where help is available whenever you might need it, 24 hours a day.

As a resident of NVC, a personalised care plan will be developed for you, that caters to your individual emotional, social, spiritual and physical needs. We encourage each resident and their significant others and family to actively participate in this process.

NVC is a community focused organisation that helps people to live their life, in the way they want to, with dignity and independence, through each stage of their journey.

Where to begin?

The first step for anyone to enter an Aged Care Facility is to have an assessment from a local Aged Care Assessment Team, known as ACAT.

This will determine if you are eligible to receive funded care and specify the kind of care you can access. To start the process, contact the MyAgedCare Service Centre by phoning 1800 200 422 or visit the MyAgedCare website at
