Another important component of NVC Home Support Program is the Carers Support Group. The support groups offer a safe forum for Carers of older people to share the impact the ageing process has on their lives and the person they care for, as well as receiving education, encouragement & emotional support.

Caring for a loved one can be challenging, daunting at times. It’s easy to become isolated or lonely when you’re a Carer.

The group is a confidential and respectful forum where participants can download the experiences they encounter while caring for an older person. Participants can receive or provide support, advice and suggestions to other Carers who may be experiencing similar emotions and challenges as you.
