Welcome to Nambucca Valley Care
We provide residential aged care and retirement village services within Nambucca Valley.
These services range from self care units (retirement villages) to low care residential services (hostels) and high care residential services (nursing homes). Our two villages are located at Macksville (Autumn Lodge) and Nambucca Heads (Riverside Gardens).
We hope you find our new website both helpful and informative. Our primary goal is to provide excellence in the delivery of Aged Care services on the Mid North Coast.
Making big decisions
Moving to an aged care facility is an important decision which results in a number of changes affecting your life. We will do our best to ensure this move is as easy as possible for you, supporting both you and your family as you make the decision and the move to living with us.
During this process there is a lot of information that you will be given. This website has been developed to provide you with a ready reference for most of that information.
Our Committment
NVC exists to serve the needs of others. We serve people who are experiencing a decline in abilities due to ageing or older people whose support needs arise from an accident or illness. We provide this support through our residential care services.
We try to ensure that each person we serve has the opportunity and support to experience the best quality of life possible. It is the job of every staff member to help us achieve this and we expect every staff member to contribute to the best of their ability at all times. It is our belief that in this way the entire NVC team can provide the best possible service and care for you.
Our Aims
In our work we strive to:

- nurture a team that has the desire and ability to provide those opportunities and who enjoy being part of NVC.
- be viable over the longer term.
Should at anytime you have questions, want anything explained or simply want to discuss any issue concerning your living arrangements or support services simply ask to speak to a senior staff member or one of the administration officers. We can generally answer most questions straight away and will always try to get answers back to you within two working days.

Who are Nambucca Valley Care?
Nambucca Valley Care Ltd (NVC) is a community, non profit organisation that meets all the necesary requirements to be classified as a “charity” for taxation pourposes. The organisation is a public company limited by guarantee governed by a Board of Directors that is elected at the Annual General Meeting.
